The self described "Space Blues" outfit KOLARS took the stage at Rough Trade NYC on April 20th to a large crowd of fans eager to jump around and let loose on a Saturday night in Brooklyn. After opening their set with their take on the Neutral Milk Hotel classic "The King of Carrot Flowers, Pt.1 " the duo -- consisting of married couple Rob Kolar (guitar/vocals) and Lauren Brown (percussion) -- strummed and stomped through a setlist of high-energy tracks consisting of both original tunes and covers alike.
