Imagine being with your best friends for twenty-one years, traveling the world and showing the love you have for music. That’s what New Found Glory has been doing: sharing the passion they have with the world.

Formed in 1997, New Found Glory has built a reputation for pop-punk that can never be broken. I had the pleasure of seeing them on their SICK TOUR here at the House Of Blues in Orlando, Florida and let me tell you, I was not disappointed at all. From the moment they stepped on to that stage, they never let the energy drop.

My dad always said “if the band sounds like the do on record while playing live, you know they have talent” and though it’s been a while, singer Jordan Pundik sounded exactly like he does on record. The rest of the band members, Ian Grushka (bass guitar), Chad Gilbert (lead guitar, back up vocals) and Cyrus Bolooki (drums), radiate with passion and talent as they play with their hearts and run around the entire stage. With every song that they played, even the cover of “Eye of the Tiger” by Survivor, there was not one person standing still. What's interesting about New Found Glory is actually their fans. The fans they have range wildly in age! From teens to parents, everyone was rocking out to “My Friends Over You.” You can also see how much their fans mean to them as they pulled up two fans from the pit at two different points in their set and had them sing with them!

What really hit me was they they talked about the benefit concert they did for Stoneman Douglas High School after the mass shooting they had. The band originated from Coral Springs so it hit home for them as well. This band has reached out to so many people and to reach out to their home town is simply amazing. You can check out New Found Glory on their tour celebrating their latest album Makes Me Sick, which landed the #1 spot on the Record Label Independent Current Album and secured the #2 spot on the Current Alternative Albums, and not to mention, twenty years of making music. You can purchase Makes Me Sick on iTunes, Amazon, or at Best Buy and stream it on Spotify.
