There is something special coming to Asbury Park, New Jersey. In addition to the city's amazing re-birth as a cultural mecca, Asbury Park will be hosting the Sea.Hear.Now Festival on September 29-30, 2018. The uniqueness of this event is that it will boast music, art, and surfing events next to the backdrop of the beautiful Jersey Shore. Produced by world-renowned photographer Danny Clinch and C3 Presents concert promoters, the Sea.Hear.Now Festival appears to have something for everyone.
Headliners of the killer music lineup (which is as diverse as the city itself) include the legendary rock band Incubus, singer/songwriter Jack Johnson, and punk rockers Social Distortion. Attendees will also be treated to the musical talents of Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals, Blondie, Brandi Carlile, The Front Bottoms, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, Deer Tick, Twin Peaks, Milky Chance, Highly Suspect, Soja, G Love & Special Sauce, Rayland Baxter, The Battery Electric, The Parlor Mob, Tangiers Blues Band, The Menzingers, Kaleo, Langhorne Slim, Nicole Atkins, Jesse Malin, Lettuce, The English Beat, The Original Wailers, and more.
Whether you are a music lover or photography nut, you will want to feast your eyes on Danny Clinch's Transparent Gallery in the Asbury Hotel. It's a beautiful space filled with Clinch's iconic music photos, and interactive seating areas accented with mid-century furniture. They also host music and spoken word events throughout the year.
Professional surfers Sam Hammer, Balaram Stack, Rob Kelly, Quincy Davis, Mike Gleason, Andrew Gesler, Pat Schmidt, Clay Pollioni, Tom Ihnken, and Cassidy McClain will be on hand to dazzle and entertain fans with their skills as part of the festival's Expression Sessions. Afterwards, make sure to stroll Asbury's scenic boardwalk and check out the landmark Convention Hall and Paramount Theatre.
General admission and VIP tickets are still available and can be purchased at https://www.seahearnowfestival.com/tickets/. The festival hours are 12:30pm -10:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind, inaugural music event!
